Stunning florals and sunshine at Rosebery Steading wedding venue.

Rosebery Steading wedding venue sits amid rolling countryside on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It’s a beautifully restored steading and barn space, with oodles of charm and historic architecture. Being only a 15 minute drive from my home, I often drove passed it and thought ‘ooh, that looks nice, I wonder if a couple will book their wedding day there and enquire with me?’.

Cue Abby and Alastair! I was over the moon when they got in touch, having booked this stunning place to host their wedding day. They are such a lovely pair. And what’s more, they are parents to an equally lovely golden Labrador, so we hit it off right away. (Side note: if you’re planning to include your furry pooch on your wedding day, I’m all in! I do love a dog.)

They planned a relaxed yet stylish day; a celebration as much of their friends and family as it was a celebration of the two of them. With stunning floral designs from Wild Flower Workshop and totally delicious grub from The Edinburgh Catering Co., it really was a treat to be involved. Their beautiful ceremony was conducted by the fab Gregor Thurlow-White, who made it so personal for the couple. Being a friend of Alastair’s, he knew how to make it a truly unique ceremony for them both. Abby made the most gorgeous bride, wearing an elegant soft dress paired with a light summer floral bouquet. Furthermore, Alastair wore sophisticated tartan trews and a waistcoat with a simple thistle.

Rosebery Steading wedding venue is truly a stunning place to photograph, but Abby and Alastair put their own beautiful stamp on it for their summer wedding celebrations. I’m eager to share some images from their lovely day with you now.
