When Dima + Ivan got in touch with their wedding day hopes, they were clear about 2 things; they wanted the event to be intimate with a relaxed vibe, and they wanted to prioritise time to explore the beautiful Old Town of Edinburgh.

So when it came to choosing a venue, Riddles Court was the obvious choice for them. Tucked away at 322 Lawnmarket on the iconic Royal Mile, Riddle’s Court is one Edinburgh’s most stunning historic buildings — a beautifully restored 16th-century merchant’s house that has been transformed into a vibrant and rich venue for small, intimate events. By the windows overlooking Victoria Street, Dima + Ivan’s guests gathered in the wood panelled hall, ready for the ceremony to begin.

Ivan helped with button holes and welcomed his adoring family + friends. Dima arrived, carrying a stunning white and yellow bouquet that was as sweet and sophisticated as her off-the-shoulder dress. The sun came out and lit the venue in warm, summer light. A quick hair and make up check, and we were ready to go… 

This is the beautiful ceremony of Dima + Ivan, featuring some of the most romantic areas of Edinburgh’s Old Town. With cobbles streets, castle backdrops, and well-walked closes, their intimate wedding captured it all.
