Vision & Mission.
Since 2014, I have been honoured to capture hundreds of beautiful wedding and elopement stories with my camera. To be trusted with these precious moments is both a blessing and a joy, and though it’s darn cheesy to say it, I really love my job.
What does it mean to photograph a wedding? Is it simply documenting the day as you watch it unfold before you? Well sort of, but not quite. Photographing a wedding day is a bit like writing a song; you’ve got to set the tone, plot a meaningful story, and it should make you feel. I’ll be there to capture the big blockbuster moments, like your first kiss at the top of the aisle, or your first dance. But I’ll also capture the setting, the in-between gestures, the details, and the candid moments. I’ll create a narrative through imagery that feels authentic to your day.
Holding a pose for too long or looking straight down the lens can be a recipe for discomfort and cheese. When I’m posing a couple, I always encourage them to move together, and it’s always ok to chat. Movement and keeping things fluid are the key to images that look and feel authentic and natural.
