Katie & Max met whilst students at St Andrews University, so Cambo House on the stunning Fife coast was the perfect choice for their wedding day. Blending timeless elegance with wild coastal views, Cambo House in Kingsbarns is an historic estate which offered the couple a unique and deeply romantic setting for their celebration.
Being a laidback pair, the morning ran very smoothly, with both Katie and Max getting ready surrounded by their friends and closest family. When it was nearly time for them to walk down the aisle, we set off for St Salvators in St Andrews, where the couple had their beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony. The chapel always amazes with it’s light and grandeur. Afterwards, Katie and Max walked along by the old ruins in the town, enjoying that ‘just married’ feeling in the warmth of the summer sun. Then, whilst their guests boarded a bus for Cambo House, we made our way to the venue’s stunning walled garden for more portraits and to enjoy the summer flowers.
The day progressed with good food and lots of laughter. Their meal set up was a stunning display of colourful florals and thoughtful touches. The weather held for them all day, allowing us to take a trip down to the beach just before sunset. It was the perfect end to a perfect celebration.
