Planning a wedding is no small feat, and you’re probably going to have lots of questions. With so many photographers out there, I thought I’d make the process just that little bit easier for you. I’ve answered some of my couples most frequently asked questions to help you understand my procedures and processes.

I’m based in East Lothian, but happily travel all over Scotland. Any travel within mainland Scotland is included in my packages. If I have to get a boat, or catch a flight, let’s talk. I’ve photographed weddings as far away as New York City – humble brag! – and love to pack my suitcase.
I need a £400 booking fee to secure your date in my calendar, but it’s not an extra charge and simply goes towards the final balance.
Yes! I encourage every enquiring couple to schedule a no-obligation call with me. It’s nice to say a proper hello, and it’s a great way for me to hear your ideas and answer your questions.
I’m able to provide you with an amazing second shooter should you like to include one in your packages. All my associates are talented individuals who run their own photography businesses.
I offer a full range of books, including Coffee Table Books to Fine Art albums. Please ask for more details.
I do indeed! If you’re getting married on a Monday – Thursday date, I offer a £200 discount on any package. No need to ask, it will automatically be deducted from your final balancing invoice.
Turnaround time for your full gallery is 6-8 weeks, though can extend to 10 weeks between July – September. However, a preview gallery is delivered to you 1 week after your wedding, so you can share images to social media and create thank you cards quickly after your big day!
Every wedding or event is different, so I never like to set a definitive figure on the number of images I’ll deliver to your gallery. But with this said, I can offer a minimum figure. For Elopements and Half Day packages, you can expect a minimum of 300 images, and for Full Day bookings, at least 500. I work hard for you on the day, and strive to capture your day in it’s fullest.
Of course you can, post away! All I ask is that you tag me appropriately on the platforms you post too, and don’t re-edit any of your images.
Your images are delivered to you via a private online gallery platform. You get the password and download pin, and can view, share and download your photos as many times as you wish. Galleries will remain online for a minimum of 2 years.
Absolutely! Your images deserved to be held and framed. You can order professional prints directly from your gallery. Prints are produced at a local printing house in Scotland, and delivered direct to your door.

Contract + Booking Fee
In order to secure your date in my calendar, I need you to pay a £400 booking fee and sign a copy of my terms. Once these documents are returned, we’re officially good to go!

Keep In Touch
Your wedding or event plans will grow and evolve as your planning process develops, so it’s good for us to keep in contact. I’ll send a Q&A to you 6 weeks before your event, and we’ll arrange another call closer to the date to discuss the finer details.

Making Friends
There will likely be other suppliers involved in your day, and I like to make friends. So if you share your vendors list with me before the event, I’ll be sure to get in touch with them to say a quick hello. I love to network and encourage other suppliers if I can!
